Dr. Subhas Gupta, chairman of the Loma Linda University Health Care Department of Plastic Surgery, gives a live demonstration
of the latest in cosmetic surgery at a recent open house. The next open house is set for Dec. 8.
A new technology for facial resurfacing will be unveiled to the
public at an open house hosted by Loma Linda University Health
Care plastic surgeons at their clinic in Riverside.
The open house, set for Thursday, will feature a live
demonstration of Dermapen, a newly-approved technology that will offer
patients an “in-between” alternative between chemical peels and
lasers.
The event is from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Loma Linda University
Health Care Department of Plastic Surgery Clinic, 3762 Tibbetts St.
in Riverside.
”We are very excited to host a Holiday Open House, which is a
wonderful opportunity for people in the region to be introduced to
the latest technology and services available to help them look
and feel better,” said Dr. Subhas Gupta, chairman of Loma Linda
University Health Care Department of Plastic Surgery.
“Our surgeons have become well known for employing the most
advanced technology and techniques in plastic surgery, and we are
glad to let the public get a better understanding of what we
do,” he said.
Gupta is scheduled to give a demonstration on Dermapen, as well
as a “liquid face-lift” demonstration, which involves a combination
treatment of fillers and Botox. Dr. Michael Hill will make a
presentation on Advanced Body Contouring for those desiring “mommy
makeovers” and for weight-loss patients. Attendees will receive a
$100 off certificate for Botox, fillers and facial laser
treatments.
The department also plans to make a donation to The Pink Runway
2012 campaign, an annual breast cancer reconstruction fashion show
fundraiser.
